About Sylettas
The unvariegated species is native to eastern Asia from China to Korea and Japan. Viola taxonomy is very complex and there is also much confusion online in photos and spellings, but we think our photo and the information on MOBOT are correct.
About Violet, Silver
Crisp silver variegation on small, kidney-shaped bluish green leaves. There are tiny, hidden flowers in late spring, but you won’t notice them. Self-seeds freely to form small mats in well-drained soils, especially around rocks and paving stones. Cute, easy, and hardy. Also called cyclamen-leaved violet.
