About The Mackinac Grand
Bright red 7" fragrant flowers. Semi-double with three or four rows of ruffled outer petals around a gold center. Early mid-season. APS Gold Medal and Award of Landscape Merit.
Originally named by its breeder, David Reath, "Mackinac Grand." The American Peony Society begged him to register it and he registered it as "The Mackinac Grand." That's why you will see both names on the internet.
